Does reaching the threshold close the pool?
No. The threshold is the marketplace's minimum for the order to qualify. A qualified pool keeps accepting eligible shoppers until its order cycle cutoff.
Who can see my location?
Nobody. Splitwi$e stores your exact coordinates privately for matching only. Other shoppers see an approximate distance and a general area label, never a precise pin or address.
What happens if a price changes after I pay?
Items are re-verified before payment and again before checkout. If the price rises, the item moves to a price-change state and you choose what to do — pay the difference, remove the item, move to the next cycle, or cancel where allowed.
How is the order actually placed?
These marketplaces have no public buyer checkout API, so an authorised Splitwi$e operator completes the purchase from the pool's order manifest and records the real marketplace order reference and amount charged.
How do I collect my item?
When your order arrives at the Split Point you receive a secure collection code. An operator verifies the code before the order is marked collected.
What does Splitwi$e earn?
Only the service fee and other explicitly defined revenue. The product amount you pay is the marketplace's, not ours, and it is shown separately at checkout.
